    Have a long drive ahead of me today and am always happen when travel plans fall on wednesday’s. Also always excited to hear a new-to-me guest.

    Also hope everyone is running the new Kevin Smith this afternoon. Just like the new Cheech and Chong movie hit theaters at 4:20 on 4/20 , we get to watch The 4:30 Movie at 4:30 on 4/30

    The Mahoning Drive-In 2024 season ended with a screening of Fright Night. William Ragsdale and Stephen Geoffreys were present to sign autographs and talk to the fans.

    With the cancellation of a planned bonfire (it would have been nice on a cold October night), everyone present at the drive-in crammed into the concession stand for an impromptu Q-and-A session with the two of them. Both expressed their amazement that this little film they made 40 years earlier had become a classic. One of my questions was about how the comedic aspect of the film was handled. William Ragsdale stated that during filming everything was played straight, and the comedy was created by the way everything was edited together.
