I passed on it for that very reason, but I know everyone says it's well made and acted, so I'm sure I'll catch up to it eventually.John Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08810774557887719483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-37067404367250819082017-01-06T12:34:59.810-06:002017-01-06T12:34:59.810-06:00Well, I am NOW. Unfortunately what it was aiming for made me feel terrible for the entirety of its run time. I can't deny that it's a well-made and incredibly well-acted movie, but its insistence on piling tragedy on top of tragedy made it a hard movie for me to love even as I appreciated all the things it did right. More than anything else, I feel like it may be the victim of coming out in a year where enough bad things happened that people weren't in the mood to feel worse.Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05129602094443434975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-50884047351027277012017-01-05T13:19:23.783-06:002017-01-05T13:19:23.783-06:00I think it comparison to everything else, it just ...I think it comparison to everything else, it just stood out.
