The series was designed to take advantage of the increasing number of color TV sets being sold in the latter half of the 60s, meaning they went nutso with bright, primary colors. As far as I'm concerned, it's still the best-looking of all the Trek series (even better than TNG on Blu Ray, which I also love).
Steve K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02141959251034133806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-43326864674808004342014-06-27T09:53:09.121-05:002014-06-27T09:53:09.121-05:00Ah, dudes are funny - here's a time machine, w...Ah, dudes are funny - here's a time machine, what are you going to do with it? Go back in time and teach myself how to get laid more! It's kinda like Star Trek actually - here's a starship, you're captain, what are you going to do with it? Go get me some greeeen pussy!

Great article guys - the 90s comic book collecting stuff is spot on - I fell into all those traps myself. On a per pound basis, early 90s comics are probably one of the cheapest substances on earth.

I'm really looking forward to taking the time to watch all of Star Trek: TOS at some point and probably rewatch TNG as well - I think I'll get so much more out of those shows now than I ever did before.Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03114869401584310369noreply@blogger.com
