Suspenseful and very entertaining with a fine lead performance by Tom Sizemore before he fell into a booze and drug filled hole.<br />The only thing that bugged me was that Hyams, as usual being his own DP, shoots dark scenes reeaalllly dark. Otherwise a pretty fun flick with a nice Stan Winston monster.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-86704703204825137542015-10-16T16:40:04.511-05:002015-10-16T16:40:04.511-05:00I dropped Netflix almost 2 years ago. In no way am I saying that it's not a beneficial service, but there are way too many outlets now to watch pretty much anything so I figured I didn't need it. They really are messing up with the model they have in place now by releasing exclusive material all at once. For example, I started my subscription again to watch Derek. I banged out all of the episodes in a weekend and cancelled so I paid 7.99 to see the show. If they released every episode once a week, I would be forced to maintain a subscription for however many months. I'll do the same with Mr. Show (W/ Bob and David). Showtime is going to get me with Twin Peaks because I have to subscribe for a certain amount of time. Why Netflix doesn't stagger episodes of original programming is beyond me but I ain't complaining. I don't know the argument against it - seems like built in income.
