I agree that the music is very good, and the animation is also pretty darn beautiful, but for me it's all overshadowed by the depth and humor of Zootopia. The only thing I didn't love about Zootopia was the Shakira song, lol.John Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08810774557887719483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-21726746483830903902016-11-27T21:48:06.903-06:002016-11-27T21:48:06.903-06:00You've won Black Friday. You've won Black Friday. Someday I'll finish it. God I can't help loving Cillian Murphy even though he's always so tragic. My sister and I reviewed our other current movie crushes over Thanksgiving: Jonny Weston and Alden Ehrenreich. Maybe I'll have to see Rules Don't Apply.

Also I read about the accusations against Casey Affleck. Watching one episode of the anime on Netflix has been my only experience with the series prior to watching the movie so I didn't have to worry about comparing the two. I noticed that Joshy is on Hulu, and while it isn't exactly a feel good movie I enjoyed it.

It was my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian so that was an interesting adjustment. My week has pretty good though and I got to spend some time with friends from out of town I don't get to see too often (in addition to time with family).

La La Land remains my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year. I also still haven't seen Manchester by the Sea yet. I also watched the Bourne Identity for the first time ever and marveled at how "period" the early 00s are starting to feel. It was a good movie and I'm looking forward to catching up with the sequels.
