It's like turning on a new movie and looking for character development. The tone and clips and choice in theme songs all provide context on who you and your guests are. I've listened to about 25 or so of your eps, and so far, it's been dry and straight-forward movie nerd banter. Other movie podcasts I listen to break the review into segments with audio intros, dissecting the film they review in distinct parts, turning the podcast into an entertaining product all its own. But more important than anything is original content and talk about things others don't, which F This Movie definitely does. I haven't heard of half the films you bring up as casual movies you might watch, so that's definitely the refreshing part among other podcasts.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13465791607366350225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-34179539033166504172016-12-02T18:48:21.690-06:002016-12-02T18:48:21.690-06:00"Best of 2017" Podcast I meant...."Best of 2017" Podcast I meant....Gil Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10513452648163004389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-21677309633358696142016-12-02T18:47:20.585-06:002016-12-02T18:47:20.585-06:00Sound effects? (Please don't bring back the Quibbler....)

In terms of changing things up, I'd love a once a month F Everything - not just with Doug, but with other guests like you did with Riske that time. I'd LOVE a freeform F Everything with JB, or with Adam Beta, with Erica, etc... Just you guys shooting the breeze around a general "theme" rather than a single movie.

Also, perhaps periscoping a podcast? Could that be a thing? Loved the F This Movie Fest periscope this year. I'd love to see the Best of Podcast live.

That being said, I love the movie discussion "format" as it currently stands. It really lets your chemistry with the co-hosts come through. It feels less like a "show" and more like catching up with this great little community. You rock. Keep rocking.

THAT BEING SAID, If you really wanted to try the overproduced show thing, I wouldn't mind more of those F This Movie video things like you did with Doug (or whoever else is on standby). They could even be released in audio form as well. They were brilliant, stupid, zany chunks of FTM goodness.Gil Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10513452648163004389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-59248697821607425752016-12-02T09:08:15.566-06:002016-12-02T09:08:15.566-06:00Haha! It's obvious they wanted this guy, who looks like an angel, to be a gangster. I tried to watch the first season for real but his character pimps out and humiliates his own gf, uses another girl, and uses ANOTHER girl as bait and she's raped and strangled close to death consequentially. So as a woman, like I'm not sure what I was supposed to find appealing about his character romantically (and non-romantically he's just another gangster). Except for his hair? It's worth it on mute once in a while, though, it is. Also Youtube compilations of the show - I do enjoy those :)Meredith https://www.blogger.com/profile/11361935408436355904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-45807167719878467102016-12-02T09:03:01.328-06:002016-12-02T09:03:01.328-06:00The only problem with Bromley Forever is Tommy Lee...The only problem with Bromley Forever is Tommy Lee Jones' performance. I think any podcast that people listen to for the personalities involved benefits from less production by allowing the audience to almost feel like they're in the room during the conversation. I also believe that this sense of closeness is a big factor in what has brought such a good community of people together here also, whereas my feeling is that production creates a sense of artifice that distances the audience from the hosts.

However if there are certain topics that would benefit from a highly produced structure (for instance if Patrick interviewed multiple people about a certain subject) I'm sure most people wouldn't object to it as an occasional thing.Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05129602094443434975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-26978364764925637552016-12-01T22:16:41.844-06:002016-12-01T22:16:41.844-06:00I rented this a while back and wanted a copy for m...I rented this a while back and wanted a copy for my library. I want to hear/read a review on In The Cut pleaes btw :) Stylized performances always throw me off but at the same time I realize I don't confuse them with bad acting or anything "bad". Like Kristen Stewart does bad acting (yes, still!!), but Holly Hunter in A Life Less Ordinary was just....so stylized and strange, and eventually compelling. It's...a good thing I guess, particularly for making repeat viewings interesting. (Btw when did everyone get off the Nicolas Cage wagon?). I want to see Existenz, although reading the full plot just made me kind of queazy. This week I've been reliving the kind of crush I would have as a 15 year old on pretty, angel-child face Cillian Murphy. I'm not crazy about most of his movies (though I think he's a good actor) but anyway...his prettiness is unreal. He must have huge complexes.

Meredith https://www.blogger.com/profile/11361935408436355904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-54527738082092573532016-11-30T22:28:54.417-06:002016-11-30T22:28:54.417-06:00It's Fine: The PodcastIt's Fine: The PodcastMikko Viinikkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16045016331246302112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-62432534025209113012016-11-30T22:06:48.285-06:002016-11-30T22:06:48.285-06:00My vote would be Bromley Forever. My vote would be Bromley Forever.Adam Riskehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01165600746796326821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-34559361803746422082016-11-30T22:06:32.509-06:002016-11-30T22:06:32.509-06:00http://shop.goop.com/collections/shoes/products/el...http://shop.goop.com/collections/shoes/products/ellie-ankle-tie-sandal
These should really accentuates your ankles, Rob.Brent Petersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17741998097323944343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-90893508149646916452016-11-30T22:03:47.669-06:002016-11-30T22:03:47.669-06:00If you change the name of the site, the only other...If you change the name of the site, the only other name that would work would be Hug This Movie Too Hard.Brent Petersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17741998097323944343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-9534615879702269252016-11-30T21:23:11.331-06:002016-11-30T21:23:11.331-06:00There's a video of them creating a wrestling c...There's a video of them creating a wrestling character that is maybe one of the funniest thing I've ever seen.Brent Petersenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17741998097323944343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-32868413270133227152016-11-30T20:52:56.704-06:002016-11-30T20:52:56.704-06:00I like the podcast the way it is.
