I dont see any reason to stick with only 3000 if there is a market for more. A second run. Third. As long as there selling everyone is happy. It seems low, but for the most part he's right -- they've only ever sold out of a few titles. Not surprisingly, they've all been horror. If there are fans out there please get all your lawyers together and sort out any bloody rights issues between whoever and sell the film to the fans. 5000 is crazy for a film so well known. If your gonna go through the time and effort to create a bluray then the best option is to sell lots of them. It makes no senseDennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13900651640246375537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-51968481540891733832014-10-31T03:32:16.684-05:002014-10-31T03:32:16.684-05:00We've discussed the pain of finding particular...We've discussed the pain of finding particular horror gems on Blu-ray before, Patrick -- so don't be shocked that I am LIVID that a company (that I know nothing about, I'd like to make clear beforehand so everyone can see how much I talk out of my ass) would procure the rights to a (cult classic) film, manufacture Blu-rays for those discerning members of the public...but STOP making them at 5000?!? It boggles my mind. Is Twilight Time the same company that did this for the Christine BD that's currently $125 on Amazon (or was when I looked a couple weeks ago)? I know there's a reissue of that in the works, but still. I kinda want to look them up to see if that's their typical MO but if it is I know that'll just piss me off.

And it's technically Halloween. No anger, just celebration!!!
(okay, maybe a little anger, 'cause I want The Fucking Blob on fucking BD)AJ Mullerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06987730338809078456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-76775898894559085982014-10-29T18:30:35.579-05:002014-10-29T18:30:35.579-05:00Well after I gather some courage I want to share h...Well after I gather some courage I want to share how
nostalgic this review made me feel. I just remember watching it
in Betamax, at night with some friends at home, I
couldn´t believe then how much fun this horror adventure
was, the characters, special effects, the monster,
everything was great.

Thanks Patrick!David Mendeznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-31421318005034547662014-10-29T08:24:45.490-05:002014-10-29T08:24:45.490-05:00I bought the TT release and was going to save it f...I bought the TT release and was going to save it for Halloween - I vaguely remember seeing it when I was younger but I'm really looking forward to watching it again. I jumped all over buying this (based mostly on Joe Lynch's love for it), paying more than I generally would for one movie and I was starting to second guess it based on the first couple reviews I read - your enthusiasm gives me confidence I made the right decision!Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03114869401584310369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-65783670458901838712014-10-28T21:58:25.955-05:002014-10-28T21:58:25.955-05:00Blub.
