But very fortunately, it was bought by new owners, and part of their strategy is playing old classics on a regular basis. I jumped at the chance to see Blade Runner (The Final Cut), and it was amazing.

I only wished I had forced my kids to come with me. They saw Blade Runner 2049 later in the year with their mum, and now are asking me to see the original. I told them! I told them, one of the best movies ever, by a titan of directing Ridley Scott. But they're mid-teenagers and close to being adults, so I don't force them to come with me anymore. They probably spent the evening on Tik Tak.Paul Calverthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11748440093206090195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-26869034791752608912023-01-08T17:17:15.999-06:002023-01-08T17:17:15.999-06:00Thanks Ross! :)Thanks Ross! :)janbottighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00126929026388305201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-25684582377811742592023-01-08T17:16:22.394-06:002023-01-08T17:16:22.394-06:00Sounds good! I've watched the Final Cut a couple of times, so maybe i should go with the Theatrical Cut for onceKuniderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05872530831159876322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-5374323669395526182023-01-08T00:17:33.791-06:002023-01-08T00:17:33.791-06:00Always great to see some Jan content on here.Always great to see some Jan content on here.Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05129602094443434975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-50670046489083035162023-01-07T21:44:52.522-06:002023-01-07T21:44:52.522-06:00Officer K! I can call you Officer K, can't I? ...Officer K! I can call you Officer K, can't I? :) Here's the deal. My knee-jerk response is to say "ALL OF THEM" but I know that is not practical. If this were a first-time viewing, I might say go for the original theatrical release, as that would replicate (see what I did there?) the original first-time theatre experience. HOWEVER, since you say this is a rewatch... I'm going to recommend the Final Cut. It is my personal favorite, but the reason it gets my rec is that it is also Ridley Scott's preferred version and I give that a lot of merit. So, go with the Final Cut and on your eventual re-rewatch, just spin the roulette wheel of BR versions and see what happens! They're ALL good.janbottighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00126929026388305201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-3503922795123811492023-01-06T12:36:41.316-06:002023-01-06T12:36:41.316-06:00I'm due for a rewatch of Blade Runner, saddly ...I'm due for a rewatch of Blade Runner, saddly it won't be in the cinema, but on blu-ray, in my home.

As the supreme authority on the movie, can you confirm which version i should watch? My bluhray set include them all: Final Cut, US and International Theatrical Cut, Director's Cut, and Workprint

Thank youKuniderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05872530831159876322noreply@blogger.com
