However, great films will usually not give you the answers - they will let you decide for yourself. scariest movie ever made in the worldhttp://www.ranker.com/crowdranked-list/the-greatest-horror-films-ever-madenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-40833659471397471232014-10-07T19:59:56.877-05:002014-10-07T19:59:56.877-05:00I've been avoiding this film because of 1. Now that I have read your review you have pushed me in the direction of seeing it. I'm excited that Elijah is doing horror. He started it with being terrifying in "Sin City", then I was intrigued that he was in Natali's segment of "Paris Je T'aime". The "Maniac" remake had flaws but I thought it was a lot of fun and "Grand Piano" (not horror but thriller) was a brilliant homage to the great DePalma. I hope to see more of him doing genre movies. I have a suspicion he is a fan or is simply trying to break image. I really like the film choices he is making. I never thought he would play a good Maniac but he did. I also thought the film had problems but he wasn't one of them. So I will give this a try. Cheers

On another point I laughed at the Era (era) phrase. You've gotta catch Doug out sometime with a third Era pronounced totally differently Ear-a the English pronunciation

Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13900651640246375537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-22645571292272376752014-10-07T13:06:37.664-05:002014-10-07T13:06:37.664-05:00This looks interesting, although I really, really,...This looks interesting, although I really, really, really disliked Timecrimes. Part of that may have been hype, but I'm pretty sure most of it was in illogical character behavior. I like the theme of this movie, though. And Wood has slowly gone from an actor I couldn't stand to one who encourages me to see a movie. It's on my list.adamarmourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04361116900351762285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4217427319662074458.post-2909686635182476012014-10-07T12:43:42.377-05:002014-10-07T12:43:42.377-05:00Nice, I was just about to check this out too, than...Nice, I was just about to check this out too, thanks for the reccomendation! Wood popped up as a Random Roles over at the AV Club this morning and I had a weird moment of thinking this movie had come out quite a while ago (seriously, I don't know of there was some long gestation but I swear I remember a trailer for this over a year ago).Joseph Finnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17168159790992899470noreply@blogger.com
