The movies that introduced his most famous characters (Rambo and Rocky) are so distinct when considered against the sequels that it almost feels like Stallone succeeded in what he set out to do in the first movie and then was OK with them being strictly commercial from that point forward. <br /><br />I'm a big fan of the nostalgia and catharsis in 2206's Rocky Balboa but have less connection to the later Rambo movies.
