I love the bond between Phillip Kwok and Chiang Sheng. The three, including Lu Feng, grew up together in school and their Kung Fu and gymnastic talents are clearly shown. My favorite was Chiang Sheng, though very hard to really pick out a favorite in the Venoms!! Sun Chien really kicks ass!! Like it's more calisthenics than fighting, but it ends up being really physically impressive. Though the comical depiction of a mentally handicapped person is somewhat offensive, I find his friendship with the blind guy to be pretty heartwarming (though that word might be pushing it). The two scenes in which they are using the hoops to train/fight are astounding and actually seem to be conveying an emotion. I'm glad that someone is paying attention to the messages behind these movies, because I think they can be easily overlooked, however simple.Wil Anoreply@blogger.com
