I've never seen the movie, but I thought the ginger kid in the clips you showed looked familiar, so I had to look up his filmography. Turns out I knew him because he was in one of my favorite X-Files episodes (Bad Blood) as a teenager. Also a few episodes of Boston Legal almost a decade after that.
I also learned The Sandlot was his first movie role, and the only thing he did before it is an uncredited role in a Nickelodeon show called Salute Your Shorts, which is listed on IMDb as "Kid That Says Denucci Peed His Pants, and Later Was In a Headlock (uncredited)", which made me laugh.
