  1. Happy holidays everyone!

Or if like me you just watched Santa's Slay as recommended by Heath. A classic line was
" F that politically correct crap. It's Merry Christmas"

Its been a fun year and ive enjoyed all the banter. Ive now got 11 days of work to eat Drink and more importantly catch up with movies. Feet up time
Can't wait for next year. Loads of movies im excited to see and of course all the fun columns and a Donnie Darko podcast too

Big love from England to you all

    1. For some reason I have never seen Donnie Darko. Recently picked up the blu-ray to rectify that. Real question, please answer without spoilers if possible: which cut is preferred, theatrical or director's?

    2. For me Jp. Without any spoilers. The theatrical cut leaves more for you to think about which for me is the fun of the movie. The Directors cut explains things a bit too clearly. I like the theatrical cut much more. Enjoy and happy holidays JP

    2. I really enjoyed it Tom. It had me laughing out loud a few time. Some great lines I wont spoil. It just got caught up in all the crap youve all heard about. Its no more offensive than the Southpark movie or Team America world police. Not that I am offended by either of those myself. I know its a sensitive issue but if we start by censoring the movies then where do we stop. Do we then start banning books. I haven't followed the story closely but im glad the film is out there for us to see it. Its a good movie. I enjoyed it

    3. Dennis,
I think my sentiments for the film echo your own almost exactly. I was grinning throughout most of it with some genuine good laughs as well. Generally I don't watch many comedies in this genre (Rogen movies etc) actually I avoid them, just not my thing. But overall I thought The Interview was pretty fun.

  11. Happy Holidays everyone! I got to watch The Avengers today, as it was one of my Christmas gifts. It's a fitting film, considering both it and the holiday are about togetherness. Friendship rules!

  12. Hyvää joulua!

Greetings to all from cold and dark Finland. I'd just like to say it's been a pleasure to join this group of movie lovers this year and take part in (among other things) my first Scary Movie Month. Hope to be along for the ride for a long time and can't wait for next year's Junesploitation, Scary Movie Month and all the podcasting goodness!

A big thank you to Patrick and all the gang that keep the site going!
