I have done as requested and saved the date. Can't wait!
Ok, speculation time. I'm guessing they're going 1988 (what with all the talk of a new Die Hard movie in the works) and include Bloodsport, Child's Play, They Live, Red Heat and obviously Die Hard.
Of course my dream lineup would include Mac and Me, The Blob, Twins and Pumpkinhead. And obviously Die Hard.
Guess: 1982, Part Deux. I mean, if '82 was such a great year for movies then one Twitter Film Fest (particularly the first one) wasn't big enough to cover them all. I hope it's a year with a David Bowie or Alan Rickman movie so we can mourn these actors properly by enjoying the shit out of their work.
Patrick often mentions that 1999 was a great year for movies, so I've been hoping that he's been saving it up for a milestone Fest. If not this year, how about a monster 24-hour one for the 10th?
