I enjoy classic films and have Turner Classic Movies, but I also have largely only watched the channel recently for the TCM Underground programming and genre films shown during the daytime. I rarely find the evening films of much interest anymore, especially since I have watched most of the famous films over the past two decades.
ReplyDeleteThe Eyes of Laura Mars is coming up this Friday. It is going on the DVR.
Agree with Stephanie, if I own a movie on home video I ain't streaming it... ever. Otherwise, what's the point of owning them?
ReplyDelete"Dolls" rulz! :-)
Was that Louise Belcher on the show? Kidding.
ReplyDeleteI had to keep pulling my phone out of my pocket at work to write down all the picks. Can't wait to get home and get to watching. Pretty sure Re-Animator is the only Empire movie I've ever watched.
This has got to be one of my favorite episodes now, and it's given me such a big watchlist that I could not be more excited about! Also, very excited to hear Stephanie is coming back so soon.
ReplyDeleteYour boy Pyun did two Full Moon pictures with both Arcade AND Dollman and Dollman rocks! :) ps. Always good to hear Stephanie too...
ReplyDeleteOh believe me, I realized I had left out Dollman after recording and was kicking myself hard. I also misspoke about The Evil Clergyman -- the rat doesn't have David Warner's face (though he's in it), but David Gale's. I was clearly not on my game.
DeleteWe all have our moments my friend! Great to hear some real love for Prison, love that movie... And feel the need now to get Cellar Dweller watched, even though it wasn't a pick I've always had it in the back of my mind as something to track down! Keep up the good work man...
DeleteI think me being really sick and slow when we recorded messed you up. Sorry, Patrick and everybody!!
ReplyDeleteStephanie you were as fantastic as always! Always got to be on the side of someone with as much Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III knowledge as you! :)
DeleteStop it - you are charming and hilarious. You guys make me want to become an expert on Empire Pictures - seems like a pretty fun, exclusive club to be in!
DeleteI always love the banter between Patrick and Stephanie and would like to see them drive from town to town in a convertible hearse solving mysteries.
ReplyDelete1. Stephanie has now become one of my favorite co-hosts. Have her on as often as possible.
ReplyDelete2. Patrick, bring back the Full Moon articles. They were wonderful and I miss them.
