  3. The twinning app told me my match was Hines Ward.

  4. This was a such a fun listen! I love when you guys do shows together. I would love to hear this done with other years!

Also, this episode and a 4 hour pure cinema on Scorsese dropping the same day was a great thing to wake up to.

  5. Yes! Glad y'all decided to do this. Havent listened yet but will asap

  6. I didnt have a list from 2000, I was in 8th grade so my favorite movies from then would've been Remember the Titans and Gladiator.

    1. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
    2. Gladiator
    3. Traffic
    4. In the Mood for Love
    5. Unbreakable
    6. Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai
    7. Shadow of the Vampire
    8. O' Brother Where Art Thou
    9. The Ninth Gate
    10. X-Men

  7. I'm not sure what my then list would have been but my now list is based on which movies I re-watched the most and still enjoy/love in one way or another. I feel like cable channels USA, TNT, FX and TBS really influenced my list, lol.

    1. Final Destination
    2. Cast Away
    3. The Family Man
    4. The Skulls
    5. Gladiator
    6. Reindeer Games
    7. Boiler Room
    8. Bring It On
    9. Road Trip
    10. Remember The Titans

    Also, great podcast!

  8. I was revising as I listened and now my top 10 is:

    1. Almost Famous
    2. American Psycho
    3. In the Mood for Love
    4. The Gleaners & I
    5. The Virgin Suicides
    6. You Can Count on Me
    7. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
    8. High Fidelity
    9. The Emperor’s New Groove
    10. Best in Show

I'm pretty happy with that; it's a really good movie year!

  9. Great podcast, cool dudes! (Is "dude" still gender neutral these days, or has that changed again?) For more Greta Garbo action, definitely see Grand Hotel. She just wants to be alone.

I'd never heard of Chuck and Buck before listening to this. (For half a second, I thought you meant Milo and Otis.) I just looked up the trailer and... huh.

  10. The family that hits the mics during podcasts together, stays together. Love you guys together. #squadgoals

  11. 10. Gone In 60 Seconds
    9. Remember The Titans
    8. Almost Famous
    7. Memento
    6. Unbreakable
    5. Battle Royale
    4. Castaway
    3. High Fidelity
    2. Oh Brother, Wher Art Thou?
    1. Gladiator

  12. Great podcast! Didn't make a top ten back then but here's mine now:

    1. High Fidelity
    2. Unbreakable
    3. The Convent
    4. Snatch
    5. The Legend of Bagger Vance
    6. Cherry Falls
    7. American Psycho
    8. The Skulls
    9. Almost Famous
    10. Hollow Man

  13. Super fun episode as always.

    1. Gladiator
    2. Cast Away
    3. Almost Famous
    4. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
    5. What Lies Beneath
    6. Unbreakable
    7. Erin Brockovich
    8. Hollow Man
    9. Remember the Titans
    10. Snatch

Honorable mention to Wonder Boys which probably would've been number 1 in 2000 but haven't watched or really thought about it since maybe 2001. Boiler Room was also in heavy rotation.

  14. I don't have a list at the moment (maybe later), but I wanted to throw in my two cents that I dig the premise and hope you keep the series going by revisiting other years on future podcasts.

  15. Great idea for a podcast! Looking forward to future installments.

Always a pleasure to hear Erika on the podcast, so schmoopy! It's like the aural equivalent of watching Paddington 2.

(Also great to [effectively] have two Doug episodes in a row.)
