That you can hear the typing noise from Patrick is kinda new. It's probably ungrateful... But can you go back to the noice cancelling that you had before ;) Love your podcast & Page
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we have had problems with the mics on the last couple of shows that don't reveal themselves until the recording is done. Sorry about that. Definitely trying to fix it.
Delete"Sauce" goes on pizza. Gravy has meat and/or pasta in it. That's just how it is. Take it up with South Philadelphia.
ReplyDeleteMy father once said that it wasn’t until he joined the Navy in WWII that he discovered gravy came in any color other than red…
DeleteIn Quebec they have several variations of the poutine, one being "Poutine italienne", where they put pasta sauce (sauce a spagat) on the cheese curds and fries (frites) instead of brown gravy. I'm not a fan. Also, gravy is just called sauce in French. One thing South Philadelphians and French Canadiens have in common!
DeleteWe do love our poutine in quebec
DeleteMy favourite variation is poutine galvaude (I think that's the name), with pieces of chicken and peas mixed in with the gravy, fries and curds. Good stuff. I make it at home sometimes if we have a bit of leftover chicken. The cheese curds are expensive though! They often cost more than everything else combined.
DeleteI would love to hear Patrick say 'galvaude' out loud 🤣

DeleteHappy 700th. You guys are awesome
ReplyDeleteNow i need to rewatch this movie, which i remember liking a lot back then
Congratulations on the 700th episode! That's a milestone not many podcasts reach.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to have to watch Silverado soon. It might be the the most famous modern western I haven't seen. Young Guns too, and then I could go back and listen to the 1st recorded episode! Maybe you will do Young Guns II for episode 1000!
