  1. Yay, looking forward to what I assume will be an earnest appreciation of this goofy, lovable flick!

Some random notes from previous podcasts... Mr. Bromley, I highly recommend giving Valkyrie a try - it's really great, IMO. One can always get a library copy or a cheap used disc if one (very understandably) doesn't want to support its director.

This podcast/web zone inspired me to become a Fast fan over a decade ago, and I've genuinely and unironically enjoyed Seven, Fate, and even 9. IMO, Fate has some solid highs, from the Hobbs/Shaw bromance (which works far better there than in their subsequent spinoff movie) to the prison break and the legitimately involving baby-rescue sequence. F9 is a step down, but the flashbacks are interesting, Cena is a strong addition to the ensemble, and the trip to space manages to actually work quite nicely. I enjoy 7-9 much more than 6. That said, you guys and I are finally on the same page again re: X. The Ssaga is now tired, sad, and completely out of gas, and I don't see any way for it to refuel. :(

Thanks for all the great listening! I've still got my fingers crossed for a Muppet Treasure Island podcast someday, which I believe Mr. Bromley has mentioned he's never seen?

  2. Is it just me or is this episode not showing up on PocketCasts?

  3. Jigsaw would be into Cronenberg, right? Too obvious?
