  1. I've been wanting to see this, as one of the few ST movies I hadn't seen, so this was a great opportunity. So I did, and wow, I loved this! Haven't listened to the podcast yet, but it was great.

The cast of the TOS were having a lot of fun. Kirk especially, as he emphasises with his dying breath. It had been a decade since TJ Hooker had been cancelled, but he was still spry. There are so many great moments in this. They separate the saucer section, which should be happening way more on the regular (and it's awesome). They kill the whole cast and crew of TNG. A section starts out with TNG on a old sailing shit (kudos the holodeck) which is awesome and I wish they had done regularly. Just the whole cast of TNG seems to be on point. The bit with Data and his emotions I liked a little less. Malcolm McDowell was fantastic as a villain too! What a great movie!

Looking forward to listening to the podcast and for another week of '94 until Fthismoviefest.

    1. Also, it's been a while since we've had a Mike and Adam guest pod. They're always good, and I'm looking forward to it!

    2. Oh, one last thing I forgot to mention. The amount of scenes with people throwing themselves about the bridge after a torpedo hit (or whatever) is completely out of control (in a good way) in this movie. They dialed it up too 11. But kept it all feeling like ST and not over the top for the franchise. I love this movie.
