    1. I still need to see that. I enjoyed all the previous entries in the Godzilla and Kong series, but kind of forgot about that one. It came and went in the theatres. I guess I was much more excited about Godzilla Minus One.

A quick thanks to you both for your incredible book released this year! It is a fabulous and beautiful source of knowledge, entertainment, and movie suggestions. It was clearly a labor of love but also one that you both poured a lot of time and passion into. I dig it the most!

  3. That fact that neither of you even saw Exhuma is incredibly disappointing. Not only was it the best horror movie of the year but it was the best movie of the year full stop!

  4. Always lots of good recommendations on this yearly podcast! Thanks. I also didn't watch as much horror this year for whatever reason.

  6. Belatedly got around to listening to this episode and enjoyed it as always.

I appreciated the craft of Nosferatu, but it left me a little flat (the way I feel about most Eggars flicks). However, listening to Heather's reading of it really made me want to go back and watch it again with that idea in mind.

I'll echo the recommendation for Patrick to check out The Intruder some time. I watched it a couple years ago during SMM with no expectations, and was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Dennis Quaid does give great villain in it, and that performance was exactly what came to mind when I saw his also-very-effective role in The Substance this year.
