    1. (i think that the creation of Michael was an incredibly important point in the evolution of horror cinema. People were not ready nor understanding of a shift away (per Carpenters wishes) for P3. Fortunately in time, as with SO many other incredible horror flicks (looking at you The Thing), its found its audience and its cult classic status is only growing)
