Mike and Adam's SDCC Diary (Day 1)

Mike and Adam Thas have died and gone to geek heaven. May they rest in peace.

This weekend is the annual San Diego Comic-Con, the biggest and most popular convention for all things pop culture in the world. Mike and Adam are there. Each day, they'll be checking in with a quick look around around the Con and show you all the fat stormtroopers you're missing. Thanks, boys!

  1. F! TV. Love it!

That intro music needs an 80s style montage to accompany it.
    Great work guys.
Now, next time someone comes up to me and says, "Have you ever actually seen Adam Beta?" I can say "Yes. Yes I have."

  2. I believe according to that intro music Mike and Adam are friends through eternity, loyalty and honesty. Nice to see video updates to F this movie can't wait for the Bill Maher like discussion round tables on late friday nights!

  4. Funny and informative. Nice job, guys! Those lines are nuts, but I guess it's kind of a group mentality that you're all expecting there to be a line, so by showing up early... YOU CREATE THE MONSTER. What have we done??

But seriously, I thought getting to my local one-screen movie theater an hour before showtime to make sure I got great seats was nuts... yeesh.

  5. Mikey P! Been missing you around here man - great job! I hope you guys have a shitload of fun and I appreciate you bringing us your highlights - as much as I'm a little jealous of you guys, I have such a low tolerance for waiting in lines that it would be a bit of a torture-test for me, so I'm happy to live vicariously through you! Looking forward to the next episode!

  6. Just watched Morgan Spurlock's "Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope" a couple of weeks ago. A great companion piece to the guys adventure.

  7. If you're going to use the end music for The Incredible Hulk, then one of you needs to walk slowly away from the camera wearing a backpack (and ideally thumbing a ride).

    2. My favorite podcast and my favorite theme music, together at last. I guess Hollywood Heath isn't the only person around here who's been reading my diary...

    3. I stand corrected! Forgive me for doubting your Bixby cred.
