  1. So, hang on. You're not very clear here I'm afraid. Do you like the Creature or not?

  2. Awww...I remember as a kid (who had watched quite a few horror movies before the age of 10) I used to picture myself befriending whatever movie monster was haunting my imagination at the time to try and set my mind at ease (i.e. if Freddy bursts into my room he won't kill me - we'll be buds!). Not because I thought they were misunderstood creatures who deserved to be loved, but because even at that tender age I subscribed to the "keep your enemies closer" adage.

But you two look so happy together - it's nice to see that man and monster can have a genuine friendship!

  3. I now pronounce you man and creature. This is one of my planned movies to hit for SMM! I think it's the only Universal monster movie I haven't seen yet.

  4. Dang it, now I want to want to Creature from the Black Lagoon tonight!

(I used to have a pic of the Creature and Julia as my desktop, and I worried if that was "too much.")

    2. How do you "almost" buy that? I tried selling my plasma to do it but they wouldn't take it (j/k, sort of).

First time I saw that it was on the bedroom wall of a friend. Great visual. :-)

  8. If you are anywhere near a couch you better have a lay down. We need to talk.

    2. Sure, JB, sure. We can talk about the Creature if you want. But first, can you tell me a bit about your mother?

  9. Thanks for posting this, I watched it last night for the first time in 25 or 30 years and it still stands up, especially the underwater scenes!
