I have the that Psycho poster that makes a brief background appearance in this video while Doug is talking! It's one of seven I have hanging in my movie room, arranged by decade from the '40s to the 2000s. The '80s, of course, is represented by BttF. :)
Nice man (and woman too) cave! What brand/model is that projector, if you don't mind me asking? Is it 720p or 1080p? Personally the highlights of the video were seeing Charlie imitating Adam Riske (only topped by Bradley Cooper imitating Louis C.K. in "American Hustle" :P), Erika & Jan on-screen together and seeing Adam 'Green Lantern rulz' in the flesh.
I was so excited to take part in F This Movie Fest 3, Amped up and ready to go, then, reality struck and my Brother's B-day celebration had to trump partaking in the event. It sounds like it was blast and I really hope to get involved next year. Sorry I missed it guys!
Nice behind the scenes clip. You have the basement of my dreams. (as in, small, enclosed, poor ventilation and a variety of people trapped inside). I didnt realise until now how much Mike and Beta make such a cute couple. He may be our Beta, but he is the Alpha of Mike's heart. Without trying to be creepy or anything and only with sincerity, for someone who was in college in '85 Jan looks goood. Charlie cameo again. When is the Spin Off happening? Or is the plan for Charlie to be a series regular for the other spin off "CaliforniDoug"?
The only spinoff that will happen is the podcast on the Milwaukee Brewers that me, Mike and Beta have been kicking around. We'll have a segment called 'Hot Merch' where we talk about the new foam finger Mike bought.
lol, at Patrick getting all teary eyed at the end big girl :) srsly tho that was great, I'm so glad you guys werent expecting it to be that big. And I'm glad you picked exploeres, I didnt watch it as part of the fest, but the movie you guys described in the podcast wasnt the one I saw when I was a kid, I have to go back, you made it sound awesome, in a very counter culture way. Any say keep it up. And F Rck Moranis and Steve Martin in My Blue Heaven!
Damn you got one hell of a screening room there, kinda makes my 1080p 42 inch big screen pale in comparison. The overall choices for 1985 were cool (yes even Explorers) and the general vibe of the whole thing was laid back and worth being sleep deprived for my work shift which started right after Goonies.
Personally I think you could do this twice a year, more than that it could become a chore but it would be cool to have a F this movie fest Part II-The Lost Movies of 85- which could include the movies that maybe just missed the cut this time. Just a thought, great fest this year though all the way
Firstly so as not too offend can I say this is only a joke!
I heard all my life from my parents. Stop watching all those movies. If you keep watching all those movies you will go blind!
Well I just enjoyed putting faces to the names of the FTM club but then got scared when I noticed 6 out of the 9 film lovers wears glasses. Damn my parents could be right...
Keep it up gang. I'm your latest biggest british fan. Roll on scary movie month
Wow. JB is great at typing.
ReplyDeleteThat's some Tommy-Lee-Jones-in-MIB level air-typing there.
DeleteIs it weird that ive always wanted to see Patrick's movie room?
ReplyDeleteOnly if that isn't a euphemism. :)
DeleteIt looks like a bombass place for sleepovers.
DeleteI want JB singing Back in Time to be my ringtone

ReplyDeleteYes, it's very important to hang those posters in chronological order because otherwise, how could you sleep?
ReplyDeleteExactly! I know I wouldn't be able to.
