Where the F is Doug? #3

by Doug Schultz
You guys are good.

This bridge is featured in a few films. Can you name one of them?

As always, please post your guesses in the comments below. If you can find a matching movie still or video that features this location, great! Share that as well. If you're stuck, I'll post clues throughout the day.

This pic is also posted on our Instagram feed, www.instagram.com/fthismovie. If you're already on that app, please follow us!

Good luck!

  1. Agh! just missed it. This is a bridge in the lovely venice canals section of Venice Beach, California. I know about Nightmare for sure, But I think you can also see it inHollywood Homicide.

    1. That bridge sure looks like it's going to Terabithia to me.

    1. Yeah - I checked it out, and there is a scene where Josh Hartnett (remember when he was supposed to be big?) and some grumpy old man are walking across one of the Venice bridges. The one in Doug's photo is behind them.

  4. Is it from the classic romcom Valentine's Day? Or the equally memorable New Year's Eve?

  5. You're all right (and alright). This is indeed a famous footbridge in Venice, CA. I know it from A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, but it's also featured in THE TRUTH ABOUT CATS AND DOGS and a couple other movies.

HOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE and VALENTINE'S DAY both feature a slightly different bridge (in the same area), but let's not split hairs.

I swear I'm going to stump you one of these weeks ...

  6. I'm pretty sure it's from CALIFORNICATION as well. Hank and Becca take quite a few walks on that bridge in the show.

  7. Is it one of the Bridges of Madison County?
