Where the F is Doug? #11

by Doug Schultz
There's only one black character in this movie.

This picture was taken at Sundown. Apologies for the obnoxious red censoring -- the (now boarded-up) windows of the house had crude caricatures of the characters from the movie painted on them. Do you know what movie this home is from?

TRY TO GUESS WITHOUT USING GOOGLE!

As always, please post your guesses in the comments below. If you can find a matching movie still or video that features this location, great! Share that as well. If you're stuck, I'll post clues throughout the day.

Good luck!

    1. Also, there's a clue in that first sentence -- "Sundown" is a character's name.

  4. Michael Coyle's correct -- this is a 500-square-foot Queen Anne Victorian cottage on Pacific Street in Oceanside, CA, known as the TOP GUN house. Charlie (Kelly McGillis) lived there, because of course a government contractor can afford to live within walking distance of the beach. Here's a still from the movie, as well as how it appeared in 1888(!).
