  1. No lie, no exaggeration, and all due respect to everyone else on the site, but Erika Bromley and the chemistry she has with Patrick are among my favorite parts of F This Movie! Seriously, you could create a spin-off podcast called The Patrick and Erika Hour and I would be there from day one! I love both of you guys! And I'm totally in on this food crawl idea. Sign me up! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get moving on crafting the horror masterpiece that will surely be Candy Cane Lane!

Oh, and one more thing....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATRICK!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    1. And as a brief side note, please don't let payment be your barometer for success. Rather, let it be the fact that you create quality content that drives a community of wonderful, smart, fun, passionate people, and as a result your efforts make the film community at large, and dare I say the world, a better place. :)

  2. Loved the episode. Happy 40th, Patrick!

Oh and Wet Hot American Summer is one of my all time favorite films. It's a little gem! My husband and I have a lot of long-running jokes from the movie. "Forget about it! Go away! Leave me alone!"

  4. I think there's something about being named Patrick that causes an aversion to birthday related attention. With that in mind, happy birthday Patrick, but feel free to add any additional praise to this message at your own convenience and comfort.

  5. Erika referencing "Audition" casually in conversation is about as cool as it gets. Hope you have a great B-Day, Patrick and I wish you nothing but continued success and happiness in your life! Thanks for giving us all the opportunity to share your love of movies with you through all of these years.

  7. A splendid 40th, sir. For my money, FTM is the most considerate and mature of internet movie-lovin' communities.

  8. You guys only have a wall of movies? Ha! I have a room of movies. I guess I'm "crazier" than you two and the pizza guy. My movie library takes up an entire bedroom. Got shelves on all the walls and an aisle in the middle made up to 4 shelving units side-by-side and back-to-back. It's ridiculous...

  9. Happy BD P-Bromz! I just started listening and learned that today is the actual day.

I also just realized that Patrick's BD and mine are as far apart as possible, exactly 6 months. I guess I'm the Mirror Patrick.

  10. For the record, I loved Streets of Fire and had never seen it until that day. I remember how excited Patrick got at the finale with the sledge fight.

  11. Guys. This Candy Cane Lane thing is almost gonna write itself, but not quite. Can someone write the voiceover for the trailer and maybe we can start working backward from there.

    1. I picture a youth choir singing while tension-filled images race across the screen.
      "Raindrops on roses
      And whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things..."

  12. Happy birthday Tickler Pramboy! I love these shows with Erika, you two are simply wonderful together. I'd love it if you did a commentary of like A Bay of Blood or Tenebrae with her.

  13. I think we need a House of a 1000 Corpses podcast with Erika now!

  14. You two have great on air chemistry - hope Erika is a more frequent guest/co-host in the future.
