  1. Creed III pitch - Bianca hates the robot and is mad at Adonis because he's been egotistical after becoming the champ at the end of Creed II. Adonis named the robot Jawn-E. The name of the movie is Jawn-E Be Good.

  2. First of all, the Rocky movies have a very special place in my heart...so loved this episode. Great stuff.

And also, I actually kinda love the movie Fun Size...so you know, it may get covered on SNMS at some point.

    1. I enjoyed iCarly as well...and I thought Jerry Trainor was genuinely funny as Spencer. I have to admit though, I have not watched the last season...it got creepy when they got older and started making sex jokes. I like my iCarly wholesome. ;-)

    2. All I know about iCarly is that one episode had a reference to The Wire, which is good enough for me: https://youtu.be/CmYFzKbeIPA

  4. Wren talks about Keevin as her mom's new bf in the first 5 mins of Fun Size. I have a kid & have seen that movie waaaayyyy to many times. It's watchable is the best thing I can say about it, lol.

  5. The reason I had them add the cancer to my story was because that's how Adrian went, and it was poetic. It made me choose to keep fighting in a different way, and I was doing it because, because that's what Adrian would want me to do. You might have missed that because it was unspoken and all in my acting.

Great podcast, congrats. But don't ever question me again.

  6. As much as I'm looking forward to Black Panther I'm worried that Ryan Coogler, and Rian Johnson, and even James Wan, are going to get sucked into the Disney blockbuster world and will make fewer smaller, more adventurous movies. I don't want to miss out on a Looper because of Star Wars episode 10, the re-return of the Jedi.

Also we have the dirt bike and ATV crews in NYC too. Do they go all out on weekends in Philly? Just the other week I saw a convoy of easily 50 plus riders.

  7. Don't even consider that I won't watch Fun Size during SMM2017....

  8. I watched Keeping Up With the Joneses with my girlfriend and her parents. Everybody, except for me, seemed fine with the movie after it was over, but I noticed that no one was laughing while it was on. It was the experience that made me wonder if comedies today are so terrible that people have forgotten they are supposed to be funny.

  9. Seriously? You guys don't talk about this meh movie enough? No show in forever and it's frigging "Creed"...AGAIN? Ugh.

  10. Like most, I was pleasantly surprised that I liked Creed as much as I did. I completely agree with getting the modern tone of the city right. I lived in Philly for four years during medical school and the inclusion of many of the local 'jawns' was spot of for the time.

  11. I really, really hope the commentary is Friday the 13th Part VII and just involves a lot of "Is THIS what you love about it, Mike?"

  12. Dammit. I just realized I missed an "era." My bad, everyone.

  13. This whole jawn thing reminds me of how the Smurfs would randomly use the word "smurf" in the place of other words.
