Patrick, do your scary movie night this year over Amazon Watch Party and have people watch along at home with you. There's a few good titles on there, and you can do a 30-day free trial if you don't want to pay the Monolith.
I will just point out that Amazon Watch Party is only for the USA. That being said, I'd be happy to see an event like that, because bringing people together with "movie love" is what's it's all about. Even if it excludes some of us outside the purview of the "Watch Party" service.
I fear that JB's designation might have have gone from "The Quibbler" to "Mr. Moneybags JB". Glad that Patrick kept him in check. It hasn't been easy for many of us.
Although I don't fault him. It's often hard to keep a perspective. I have a few friends that have been relishing the months of vacation while being paid, while the rest of us struggle through.
I'm right there with you Adam.i could tolerate a lot more true crime when I was young, now I just can't let those images in my brain. I can't even read thrillers where they spend portions of the book inside the killers mind. Why would I put that in my skull?
