  1. If you read the IMDb description the second segment is not at all what is included in the movie. With how short The American Racist segment is, do you think it was a last minute replacement for a segment that was canned late into production?

  2. It baffles me that this has become a franchise. For ages, it was near impossible to see the first one and when it was finally announced by Scream Factory people couldn't believe it. And it was great! Then the sequel came out in a time so ripe for a great black horror-satire and it was unbelievably bad. I would have sworn they'd just end it there because as far as I could tell, no one liked it. And now, even though this one sounds closer to the quality of the second than the first, damn you, you've convinced me to go watch it... And I agree, I kinda want this to be an ongoing franchise. I'm so confused.

By the way, Patrick, don't know where else to put this, but fantastic Pure Cinema podcast. You inspired me to invite the one friend Melbourne, Australia will allow me to have over on Halloween night to do a 6 movie marathon.

  3. If you can make it to the Mahoning Drive-In next week, Adam, The Hidden will be playing on Tuesday. I watched it for Junesploitation 2019 and it was my favorite watch for the whole month. Sci-fi, buddy cop film, and 1980s action, it is a fun ride.
