  1. JB talking about Paul McCartney writing Yesterday was spot on! It's like Ted Williams talking about hitting...you just do it! It's so easy! My favorite song from Head "Porpoise Song".

The podcast reminded me I really need to dig into all of them, soon, so cheers for an enjoyable episode and reminder.

    2. Thanks dude! Count me in as a regular from here on out. Digging around on the site all day im finding endless amazing stuff.

Canon Talk: PHENOM job on the Screen Draft! I just discovered them recently as well (egads, how could both these podcasts be off my radar for so long????). Narrowing down a Canon list was no easy task but y'all did great. I actually revisited my childhood fav Invasion USA just after listening. Man was it a fun rewatch! Crazy bananas 80s actioner. Also i laughed at the fact that the final shot is basically a high noon western standoff duel...only with a bazooka and LAW rocket...LOL!!!

Also...the whole time i was listening to the podcast i was trying to figure out how i know you....i think i figured it out..DVDVerdict! You were a major reviewer on that site, right? Loved it. Also, small world, my wife is good buds with Judge Naugle.

Thanks again for all the great movie content, im stoked to be on board the (runaway) train that is F-This-Movie!

    4. HAZZAAA! Mystery Solved. Love it.

Also, im the random dude who tweeted you a photo of the Strange Days dvd. Im old school in that i still love shopping around for used physical media..when i came across that flick last week i was thinking "hmmm pretty sure this movie is WAY better than i remember. i gotta revisit" Then i saw your tweet and i just laughed at the crazy coincidental timing.

Take care sir! Ill be a regular round these parts and am looking forward to all sorts of movie discussion goodness!

      Peace n Lights, Cameras, ACTION

  6. This particular episode blew my mind as when JB mentioned the ending of Zabriskie Point (and all the stuff blowing up in a desert), I vividly remember seeing that ending when I was 13/14 and also expecting Harrison Ford to show up (as the movie was billed on TV as starring Harrison Ford - he has an uncredited role). I could never figure out what the movie was until now.

  7. Patrick: not sure if its on your radar or not, but the podcast "Gilbert Gottfrieds Amazing Colossal Podcast" recently re-released an interview with Michael Nesmith to align with an upcoming 'final' monkee's tour. I honestly didnt expect too much as while im a huge fan of the Monkees, i know Mike's general demeanor towards interviews and figured it would be short and cynical. Turns out he tells some great stories and is wonderfully honest about WHAT he remembers and how he remembers it. You need to listen as there's a sizeable portion of the interview on his thoughts of the rise and fall of the Monkees and a large segment on the creation of Head. Dig it!
