Woohoo! New Cravin'! Fun stuff as always, although Harry Pringle is gonna haunt me.
ReplyDeleteAnd just a heads-up, the episode isn't showing up on PocketCasts (at least not for me). I have no idea whether that's something you can address but wanted to let you know just in case.
And then it appears literally 15 minutes after I write the above comment. So please disregard.
DeleteGreat podcast, you two! I love this flawed-yet-delightful movie.
ReplyDeleteBut... it's Baron Hackenstein.
You're looking for a modern Anne Ramsey. I vote for Dale Dickey. She's one of those actors that you say "Oh it's that lady." She has an odd look to her but can play in just about any genre.

I'd say the Anne Ramsay roll would probably end up being Lin Shaye or Dee Wallace. Some who's instantly recognizable to genre fans but not so huge as to distract casuals
ReplyDeleteGreat podcast, but there was one moment where Patrick didn't fulfill my expectation (and Heather's laugh indicates that she thought it would happen, too):
ReplyDelete"[...] with the exception of Harry Pringle who is... ehh... a monster [...]"
A monster? He is a dick!
