  1. I believe it was Betty Grable who had her legs insured.

    Really fun show, guys!

  2. I do remember this film solely for the dance number by Michael C. Hall. That was an inspired choice in my humble opinion.

  3. Gamer was one of my first Blu Rays (I went HD DVD instead of Blu Ray and lost) so I will always have a soft spot for it. I think 10 of my first 20 Blu Rays were Lions Gate movies like Crank and others because they were all pretty cheap at the time (2009). Gamer may not completely work and some of it hasn't aged well, but you cannot call it boring, that's for sure. And that is what I've always liked about it. It's not afraid to take chances/make choices for better or worse. There's at the very least a lot of ideas here. They don't all land, but I appreciate them trying. I actually am a big fan of the visuals, the fast pacing, the music. That stuff all works for me. This came out around the time when I was in college and at the tail end of my 'gaming phase' and a lot of what they have to say about the culture and the internet in general are actually kind of on the nose for 2009. We were heading into unknown territory at the time. I think a lot of it has course corrected since. Even though the movie is supposed to be set in the future it actually works as a time capsule for late 2000s, early 2010s.
