  1. Love Trouble Every Day, Rob! You're in for a ride. Patrick, I am excited for you to see Wicker Man--that's one I thought I knew what it would be like and was totally wrong. Adam, I haven't seen any of the ones you mentioned but I have wanted to watch Once Bitten for a while even though zany Jim Carrey is a little hit and miss for me. (See also: Andy having an Ace Venture shirt, me hating Ace Ventura.)

I don't necessarily plan out my Scary Movie Month viewing ahead of time, but I do have a secret Letterboxd list I've been adding to in case I get stuck and need inspiration. Will this be the year I finally watch The Others, the 70s Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Unfriended: Dark Web? Only time will tell!

  2. WOOT! Scary movie month is almost here! Great ep dudes!!!

Suggestion for y'all that have Shudder: they're running a multi part show reviewing their list of the "Top 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments of All Time". As with every list about art ever, its a very subjective subject, however they do a great job with it..lots of fun and lots of horror fan talking heads being excited about the movies. Additionally, im finding it is a great source for movie suggestions of flicks that ive never seen but had on the "man i really need to watch that one some day" list in my brain. When i come across those i dont watch the segment as its super spoilery but do jot them down for Scary Movie Month fodder!

    Peace .n. BOYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

  3. It’s been 30 years but I’m pretty sure I saw Once Bitten on USA Up All Night and that it was appropriately doubled with the Patrick Dempsey “classic” Loverboy, which should let you know everything you need to expect.
I also have never seen The Wicker Man and feel a little bad about it every time I rewatch Hot Fuzz.

  4. There is a werewolf in Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory, Patrick. Krimi element is probably the criminal investigation aspect of it. It is an entertaining slice of 1960s Eurohorror. I find the Italian dub more enjoyable than the English dub, though.

Once Bitten is a lot of fun. It is the kind of film that is better because of its 1980s vibe. That dance sequence is one to remember.

I actually have a viewing plan for the month, but who knows what life has in store.
