  1. Thank you guys for making the absolute best movie website around, with the absolute best articles, crowned by the absolute best podcast. Patrick, you rock. And everyone who ever wrote something here was always excellent. No pressure, but if you ever stop doing it, i might stop caring about movies altogether 😎😜

    1. Oh, and Nightcrawler is awesome too. I've actually been thinking about it for the last few weeks. Don't know why, it was just on my mind.

  2. Well this episode about Nightcrawler took an unexpectedly touching turn. But I love it and I love you all. I’ve been around since like early 2012 and I’m glad to revisit this enjoyable community time and time again. It’s genuinely my favorite. Keep up the good work, friends!

  3. Love the show guys. Long time listener, and I agree that the hustle of podcasting and self-promotion can be a drain.

  4. Really cool episode and enjoyed the heartfelt peek slightly behind the curtain. I believe you have fostered the "community" in the right way. The show just feels like the friends who love movies as much as I do that I don't necessarily have in real life.

P.S. Do I earn bonus fan points by coming to the show from DvdVerdict.com? I was a daily reader for years and enjoyed Patrick and Erich's reviews.

P.P.S. Do all those wonderful DVD Verdict reviews exist anywhere or are they just gone from the internet?

P.P.P.S. Ambulance is the best action movie of the 2020s.

  5. woah...im with my fellow commenters in thankin ya both for the moments of openness and reflection during this episode. its a testament to both of your characters and passions that you had this discussion and are sharing it.

With regards to the concept and verbiage of "community" or other terminology "f this fam ..f this gang....", i look at those words being used in an optimistic and positive way and almost always aligned with the concept of welcoming others. Moreso, those that actively participate within are typically always respectful and kind to each other.

As for the site and its contributors...there is no debate around it, you all put in a LOT of hours, every week, to keep the movie loving content flowing. Its all in the service of the art you (read: we) love, but it is work none the less. And i would like to reiterate the comments above and likely the feelings of countless others: we appreciate YOU and all you do so very very much.

Peace n Movie Love for Movie Lovers
