  1. I love this movie partly because it's the scariest type of movie I can bring myself to watch. Having been a nightmare-plagued child who slept with the closet light on and stealthily snuck into her parents' bed for the first 11 years of her life (not the second), I never watch horror movies because I know I will be sorry later, i.e., 19 yr. old Doug at the clown cabin. I do, however, like heebie jeebie movies and "Signs" satisfies that craving. I agree that the way it's filmed makes it creepy, e.g., the reveals at the birthday party and in the TV set. Awesome! I love that type of scary. It's just enough to make this pansy get the chills but not freak out. Thanks for F'in it

  2. Great Podcast as always guys. I was in the camp that Signs also did not work for me even though The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable did. It could of been the expectations thing. Im not even sure why and I have not been back to revisit it since. This Podcast did not go as expected and im now very intrigued to revisit this film. Cheers guys.

Im not going to read the book mentioned though. It had a negative effect on Patrick, and we all know a book cannot be unread. So it's probably better to give it a pass
