Don't Miss Our LIVE Tobe Hooper Tribute This Sunday, 8/26!

We're dedicating the whole day to you, TH!

This Sunday, we are paying tribute to the late, great Tobe Hooper with a very special live show that kicks off at 10am CST and goes until...well, until we're done and there are no more guests, I suppose. It's going to be a marathon, that's for sure.

Many of the day's special guests have already been announced, including Mick Garris, Caroline Williams, Jared Rivet, Jill Gevargizian, Heather Wixson, Elric Kane, and Brian Saur. But there are so many more guests! Also joining us to talk Tobe will be Kevin Maher of Kevin Geeks Out, Patrick Hamilton of the Kill by Kill podcast, screenwriter/VFX supervisor Stephen David Brooks, memorabilia collector Jason Guy, and author Joe Maddrey, plus some of our regular FTM contributors. We'll talk about the man, his movies, his memory -- all of it. I hope you'll join us, because it's going to be a really lovely tribute.

Seeing how much love and attention Tobe Hooper has gotten this past week in response to our memorial has been truly moving, and I only wish he was able to see just what he meant to many of us and how his movies have continued to live on, finding new fans every day. I find myself wishing I had done this tribute when he was still with us so that he would know just how loved and admired he is. This will have to be the next best thing. I'm glad so many of us can come together to help keep his memory alive, and I'm very grateful to all of our guests for being so ready and willing to step up and pay tribute to a one-of-a-kind filmmaker. If I can get through the day without crying, it will be a success.

Please join us as much as you can on Sunday. It's going to be a really fun, really special celebration.
