  1. I thought Fraser was really good in The Quiet American, putting a twist on his affability and adorableness. I don't remember if the movie is good, but I do remember the creepy kept woman relationship between Michael Cain and a twenty something Vietnamese woman. Also anytime you all talk about 90's movies it brightens my day.

  2. I live in mid-Missouri, so it cracked me up to hear you guys namedrop the "Lake of the Ozarks situation". Yeah, I hear it was crazy and a lot of people are upset about it. Thankfully I don't live too close and never saw any of it.

Loved hearing you guys talk Spider-man 2! I get chills just thinking about this movie, it's easily my favorite superhero movie.

    1. I rewatched it today to prepare for the pod. I still think the setup holds up, they just don't do anything with it. Astin barley learns a lesson, and the relationship Link has with Tunney is replaced by his OG girlfriend coming back. Which was a mistake. Link should have won the track meet, Astin should have been the one to hit the bully and Stoney should have been prom king. ;)

  4. I haven't finished the podcast yet but I will chime in and say that I too just watched Grosse Point Blank for the first time this year, and, definitely developed a crush on Minnie Driver. It wasn't there after any other movie I've seen her in. This one did it.

    1. Her tiny scene in Goldeneye was all I needed to develop a crush on her. Although to be fair I was at the age where I developed crushes because of a slight breeze.
