  1. Great! I was thinking about watching this today. I actually started it a couple months ago, had to stop about 1/3 of the way through because of some unexpected something, life was really busy for the next few days, and never got back to it.

    1. I don't have not much enthusiasm to see Conjuring 3 (The Devil Made Me Watch It)...The first one was solid, and many other have been fine, but it's been diminishing returns for the most part. The Nun was one of the worst movies I saw last year. I'll watch it eventually, most likely.

Broken Arrow...was awesome. I love bad guy Travolta, especially when he's shot out of a train by a missle. John Woo sometimes gets a bad rap, but he's super talented, even if he doesn't quite hit the mark sometimes (MI2, which still has lots to love in it). One of my favourite movies of the 2000's is the Red Cliff duo movies. The guy has a ton of talent.

    2. Some double negatives in there. I DO NOT HAVE MUCH ENTHUSIASM. Hope that's better. :)

  3. I haven't seen Cruella.
    I may never see Cruella.
That being said, I think "Goth Emma Stone" may be enough to get Cruella into my Top 10.

  5. I wrote this yesterday before hear ing the podcast

"a young Liz Hurley somehow being the most menacing of Bruce Paynes gang."

Listening to the podcast this morning and I hear her getting praised. Cracked me up. But I disagree she wasn't a waste(if that is what Admam was referring to as a waste) in Passenger 57 she was one of the highlights.

Another great episode. I'm going to have to rewatch both but I think I like Hard Rain more than Broken Arrow as well. Although BA does give us that sweet, sweet Nora and Mark pump up the volume reunion.

    1. I was imitating Wesley Snipes when he says "What a waste" in Passenger 57 about Elizabeth Hurley because she's a fox but also a terrorist. I think she's good in the movie.

    2. Completely forgot that line in less than 24hours. I praise you for your memory and a good joke that when over my head.

  6. Late to this one because I had to make time to re-watch it. For some reason in my head I was confusing it with The General's Daughter...? That's on me. I...kinda liked this. Travolta is having fun, but Samantha Mathis seems miscast. Slater is OK, but not sarcastic or "Slater" enough and his kicks are...not good. But there was some good action. If there is one interesting thing I would say almost Travolta's character has a slow untangling because he realizes Slaters criticism's of him in the plane (likes feeling like God, thinks he's always right but isn't) are right. That informs his actions in the end.
