Oh you mother humpers!!!!! I hate you Patrick 😜
I came here to see if anyone else said anything about it 😆 I skipped back 15 seconds because I thought I messed up or something, but nope! Well played, sirs. Reveal it on the Patreon #thepeopledeservetoknow
Same, i rewinded a few seconds because i thought i hit something by mistake. I don't have twitter, he might have mentionned it there
I second the recommendation of Shattered Glass for Patrick. It’s up there in the pantheon of very good journalism movies and definitely worth seeing.
A reference to "the worlds tiniest sunday" from Ed Debevics!?! looove it.
Adam: i HIGHLY suggest you watch Superman II (go with the Donner Cut) as well as The Game. Both absolutely entertaining.
I share the Anne Heche love. I saw her on Broadway in Proof (which was also a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow). Although I usually like Gwyneth, Anne Heche was on another level.
I had never seen it. So I watched this morning, and my favourite bit was the guy jumping into lava and improbably hoisting an adult human body several meters further. Fun movie though. I later learned that Anne Heche was ignored by the obituary section of the Oscars, so I also watched Six Days, Seven Nights. Which was really good, despite it being badly reviewed. Pretty good, not really good. The guy from Friends was fucking horrible and sucked whatever joy was in every scene. It was a remarkably good looking movie, then I saw the cinematography was Michael Chapman who did a bunch of other good stuff.
White Squall was terrific! But I love movies based on boats, and R. Scott is my jam, so there was no way I wasn't loving it.
I enjoyed The Old Way. I highly recommend the director's commentary it is an all-timer. He is very honest and blunt. He said he was informed mid-shoot that they had two filming days taken away and because of that the ending had to be re-done on the fly and was compromised.
Oh nice! I want to listen to that for sure. Waiting for the Blu-ray to drop in price before I pick it up.
The scene where that guy melts into the lava was too much for my ten year old brain to handle.
