  1. Perfect timing, i just bought The Negotiator blu-ray on ebay. It arrived yesterday. I felt like rewatching it.

Also, bought Scala! Following Adam recommendation

  2. This would be my happy place for MANY other reasons, but your yearly “T” episode is the “”Ice”-ing on the cake.

  3. OMG...between the Quervo Jones riffing AND Adams bit about the Batman Forever cards ("No need to rewind..ill just go thru them again...1, 3, 5,") i was cackling on the drive to work today. Thanks you silly silly persons.

  4. Just rewatched Trespass to prepare for listening and after some internetting, I’m listening to Paxton’s Martini Ranch album. Blowing my mind.

  5. Ice Cube reused the “Boom-ping-ping” from his Guerillas In Tha Mist album.

  6. Three moments from this episode made me cackle like a fool in public:
    1. The start of the second count through the missing Batman Forever card numbers (already noted by Mashke above).
    2. Antonio Banderas being unable to satisfy Nicole Kidman's needs because he's too busy being the Nasonex bee.
    3. I drew the map... like a stupid person.

I hadn't seen Trespass until watching it for this episode, and it landed closer to that 2 star level for me (enjoyable bits, but felt a bit flat and I struggled with the more-of-a-scenario-than-a-plot-ness of it that the guys discussed. At the same time, I know exactly what the guys meant about its 3+ star ceiling if you're just really into the director/actors involved, and/or had it in heavy middle school sleepover rotation (coincidentally, I think that exact sleepover logic gives The Negotiator the same kind of bump for me--funny, since those movies were discussed back to back).
