D'oh! I mistakenly put on 1982's Blood Song with the commentary, and I was all "How on earth have they mistaken Richard Jaeckel with Ted Raimi?" Then I was all, "Oh..."
But, yeah, great commentary! I'd never even heard of this one before, and I love how crazy it is.
Yay, my Junesploitation pick becomes a Scary Movie Month commentary track. Just finished rewatching it with Patrick & Co., and it's the most fun I've had listening to one of these since the very first one for "Sleepaway Camp." Cool start to the month. :-)
I finally got a chance to have a first viewing of the film then immediately follow it by listening to this commentary whilst letting it play again. Had such fun listening to you guys, thank you!
You surprised me with this pick for SMM although I've seen this movie before. Learned of it from a review back in 2011 (http://www.thecinemasnob.com/the-cinema-snob/blood-rage). My only question is IS this the best Thanksgiving (in that people are together eating turkey but no one mentions the holiday - for foreign sales?) horror movie? Thankskilling isn't worth mentioning but Blood Freak has it's moments. And then there's Home, Sweet Home that not only gives us a lunatic on PCP running over old ladies but a guy in clown make-up with an electric guitar named "Mistake"! Now all we need is a commentary for Bloody New Year and we're set. And to JB....you don't have to be 70 to remember the "Which twin has the Toni" slogan. You just have to either be a fan of MST3K or watch the old game shows from the early 60's on BUZZR.
Please never stop doing Ray Liotta in Goodfellas. It's funny everytime. Riske sneaks in a 'Stop It' that was spot on, I couldn't stop laughing. I'm intrigued by the concept of body liquor, now let's go back 5 minutes for a little history lesson on 70s liquor! You guys were fantastic, time for me to go through all the commentaries from years past, I'm a bit of a procrastinator and haven't listened to a lot of them.

Saw this last year for the first time. So great! That's not cranberry sauce!
ReplyDeleteI'm putting this with commentary on my to watch list
ReplyDeleteYes JB, you drink tequila with a lime.
ReplyDeleteWatched it for the first time with the commentary. Absolutely hilarious and awesome. What a way to start the month! #PillowsOnTheFloorCornsOnTheDoor

ReplyDeleteThis is a great commentary although part of me wishes that every year they just rewatch Halloween III and record a new commentary for it.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff guys! So much fun.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't know how many Blood Rage commentaries there are, but this must be the most Goodfellas infused.
