  1. Love the Sean Whalen movie synergy: starting with TWISTER, ending with THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS

  3. Loved the podcast this week as always. I recommend staying off of film twitter, the quality of your life will only increase. The love for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is cool to hear. Bonus tangent: doing the math, the next Indiana Jones movie will be set after the events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...

    1. I probably should stay off Film Twitter. The Widows people would still find me though.

    2. I'm not even sure if people are ragging on Adam because he loved, or hated Widows. I would just like someone to talk to about Widows, because no one I know in real life has actually seen it. And I loved it.

But don't worry Adam. I've completely abandoned twitter, so I won't bother you there. Maybe I'll find a real life Widows lover someday.

  4. Super happy that you guys did this film! I always thought of it as a dark fairy tale. Young hero trying to rescue a princess trapped in the evil castle, evil queen and king, dungeons, monsters, townspeople rising up at the end, and all that:) Looking forward to the next show! Would love to hear you guys talk about Just Before Dawn:)

  5. I'm not saying that I somehow ended up with one 70mm reel of Aliens, but if Adam ever needs a 70mm reel of Aliens for his film collection...

  6. I'm pretty excited that Adam found Twister to be pretty good. I recently watched Speed with the kids. There was a long 2 month period I kept saying, "we should watch Speed!", and they would say, "No we don't want to watch you're stupid movies. Let's play Fortnite instead". It became a bit of a running joke. But then I fucking insisted that they watch it one night (I hadn't seen it since the 90's either) and it was a big hit. I didn't realize that Twister was by the same director, but it was also on my list of movies I wanted to rewatch with them. Wasn't sure how it would hold up, but now I'm encouraged.
