  1. i'm not a fan of movie theaters. i like a big sccreen, but if the movie is good enough, i'm fine with my 40inches. so either you watch it a home or in the theater, you need to be focused to watch Tenet. as in many Chris Nolan movie, it's high concept with multiple twists and turns and a lot of exposition.

and i liked Babysitter, 1 and 2, it's just plain fun slasher. McG is clearly letting loose and having a blast with Killer Queen

    1. Ah, but with projectors, you can get big screens and the vastly improved experience that comes from light bouncing off a reflective surface, rather than being drilled straight into your eyeballs from a TV/monitor, at home! ;)

    2. Being drilled into my eyeball is a better input method. More direct 🤣

  2. I need to re-watch Halloween 2 (2009) for scary movie month. I remember hating it. I remember loving the first 15 mins or so but then it's all a d**** BS. I remember not liking what happens to Danielle Harris, Scout's acting, Sheri Moon's acting, the dialogue, the cow, the editing, the ending....I need to watch it again.

    1. I like it more as a story about Laurie unraveling than a straight up Halloween movie.

    2. Interesting...I'm definitely giving it another try next month

  3. No offense, but the notion of mainlining horror stories on this October, of all Octobers, fairly boggles my mind. Different strokes... :P

  5. Since 2020 is such an insane year, I really feel like this should be the year Patrick does finally watch Mirrors. It could be the thing that fixes everything! Lol. Ok, I know it’s ridiculous, but let’s just try anything at this point, haha.

Really fun episode btw!! I’m beyond ready for Scary movie month!

    1. + a podcast about the one franchise he said, he would never do a podcast on: "The Exorcist".

    2. I thought it was Hellraiser that they said they would never do? I remember well because I watched them all 5-6 years ago, thinking that it would be the next franchise, only to have them say they would never do it. The worst part, is that it's been so long since I watched them, that I'll have to watch them all again if they ever do cover it.

I'm thinking it's going to be Final Destination this year. Calling it!

  6. I'm so ready for this. To use a sportsball analogy, I'd be putting on my eyeblack now...and thowmping some shoulder pads.

  7. I'm also highly anticipating the eventual Rumpelstiltskin episode with Patrick and Mike. As well as hopefully one on Triloquist... #MarkJones4MiniPrez

  8. I must say, this podcast got me very excited for October! Also, I loved the F Marry Kill game and kinda think this needs to be developed into an actual card game of some sort. I'm not sure where the competition would come in but it would be fun to have lots of movies to match up in different ways!

  9. Guys, I just read the wiki plot summary for ANTEBELLUM bc I couldn’t help myself. The twist...is...something. Now I have to watch it.

  12. Adam, you'll always be more than Tales From The Hood guy to me!

And I'm totally with you on Zombieland. I couldn't wait for it to end. Glad I'm not the only one. I don't ever bring it up, because I know it's beloved for some reason.
