  1. I read that David Gordon Green said Christine was his influence for Ends and watching Christine for SMM I see Arnie Cunningham = Corey Cunningham. The nerd who is bullied and evil takes over him. I thought Ends was just terrible writing. Michael "powering up" after a kill was just ridiculous. I'm sure in a few years Letterbox reviews will tell us why Ends is really great and it will gain a cult following like Season of the Witch and Zombie's H2. 5 years from now we'll get a reboot cause Evil never dies. .

  2. It's was funny (for me) when you said that the discourse about Halloween Ends has already gone through several cycles. While I don't doubt you, I didn't even know it was released yet. Thought it was coming this weekend. Haha.

I just got around to watching Halloween Kills this SMM, and didn't like it much, so I won't be rushing out to see the new one. I liked a lot of DGG's comedic output previously so I'm a little unhappy I didn't enjoy them more .

    1. I've been convinced to watch Nina Forever by your brief intro to it, so I'll listen to the rest of the podcast afterward. I had never even heard of this movie.

  4. A Nina Forever podcast, a new sequel to the original Silent Hill movie, and 4 new silent hill games announced! Looks like Christmas came early for Rob.
