And I'm super excited to be joining in!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so.....scaredddd
ReplyDeleteI'll be catching the beginning and hopefully make it back in time for Robocop, proly the middle to end though. Sad I'm missing Raising Arizona and Predator :(
ReplyDeleteWOOO!! F THIS MOVIE FEST!
Have fun, everybody. See you on Twitter! :)
ReplyDeleteMissing the F This Fam today! Real life taking over today, unfortunately. Hope you all have a blast!
ReplyDeleteWish you could join us Chaybee.
DeleteThanks man. Missed being a part of it but still, had a great day with fam and old friends!
DeleteFthismoviefest is one day, but it's good to read your posts all year round. You've got a very unique taste in movies and I always look forward to the stuff you recommend.
DeleteThanks for the kind words, Ross!
DeleteWell, damn my luck. Work got in the way, missed the F This Movie fest for the first time since it started. Oh well, hope you guys had fun. :-(
ReplyDeleteYour steaming hot contrarian takes were missed, JM. Riske had to step up to the plate in your absence. Out of curiousity, do YOU like Raising Arizona?
DeleteI felt really bad not loving Raising Arizona, but it's just more to love for everyone else???
DeleteHahahaha! Nah, you're fine. Always appreciate the honest and humble way you present your contrarian takes, Riske.
DeleteI tweeted out asking if people knew where you were! Stupid work.
DeleteMike Snyder and I don't love Princess Bride so we picked up your slack!
Nice graphic, Rik!
DeleteAdam, there are a lot of movies I dont enjoy because I can't get over how unattractive I think they are (or the costumes) so I get you! Even tho we have like opposite taste. Beasts of the Southern Wild- right up my alley. Also Captain Fantastic =-O
I couldn't join but glad to know it was such a huge, fun success! Congratulations on building such an awesome community! Erika is always such a down to earth breath of fresh air on the podcasts.
It's an awkward position. F This Movie Fest is obviously a day of celebration. It's not a time to criticize the movies. If I wasn't asked what I thought of Raising Arizona I wouldn't have said anything at all.
DeleteYour guys' endurance is incredible. Amazing job today, to all the organizers and tweeters!! I had a great, great time, and I'm glad it's a whole year before the next one!
ReplyDeleteJust the best. Thank you all F This Movie family.
ReplyDeleteBetween my baby and time zones I had to miss out again this year. Sounds like it was a blast as always. I miss you guys.
ReplyDeleteYou were sorely missed, Brad. Veteran F Head for ever. Internet fam's always gonna be here for you.
DeleteYes, the day was the best. As usual, the community stepped up and were awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis was the first time I participated in #fthismovie fest, and goddamnit was it worth it. My housemate couldn't understand why I would stay up until 4am tweeting about films I've seen hundreds of times, but he doesn't know how the can opener works, so...
ReplyDeleteThanks Patrick, JB, Adam(s), Rob, Doug, Erica, Jan B and everyone else for saving me from the hellscape of February. I'm already prepping for next year, time-zones be damned.
Did Mark Ahn move ahn too??
ReplyDeleteNo, Mark Ahn is still very much with us. He had a work conflict on Saturday that prevented him from joining us for the fest, but he will back to writing and appearing on the podcast very soon. Unless he is kidnapped.
