  1. The only appropriate way to celebrate the 600th episode. Here's to (at least) 600 more!

So I haven't listened yet, but I'm assuming the episode is Adam recounting the plot to Patrick, who still hasn't seen Mirrors.

  2. I saw MIRRORS back in high school, and I can confirm that *that* Amy Smart scene is the only thing I can remember about it. Great show guys, and congratulations on this milestone!

  5. Now you just have to watch the 2003 original Into The Mirror, that Aja's film is based on.... Then you can be at peace.

  6. You did it. You crazy son of a bitch, you did it.

And, I have to agree with both of you it's a pretty lame movie.

"Yes..yes...Adam and Patrick were so preoccupied with whether or not they could watch Mirrors, they didn't stop to think if they should watch Mirrors."

  7. This was everything one could hope from in a 'Mirrors' talk

  8. Come for the Mirrors review. Stay for the Kiefer S riffing! SHIT!

(PS: This is the second podcast ive heard this week discussing Aja movies..and in both cases when someone references "Crawl" i swear they are saying "Krull" and get confused that Aja made Krull. That being said...just spitballing here...what if we do a sequel to BOTH by doing a crossover!? Krull could stave off hordes of croc's with the glave! All we need is a catchy title...hrmmm.....

    Krullcrawl 2: Electric CrocAligatoroo!

    Ill show myself out)

  9. This episode is delightful, and I could also just listen to the impressions and "Shit... Dammit" over and over. I can't stop laughing!

Adam, I hope you enjoy Idle Hands and Dark City when you finally catch up with them. Though probably me saying that is just making your resistance to watching Dark City even stronger, haha.

  10. I've been thinking about the names of the Esseker as an anagram of Seekers seeking victims in the Mirror and then remberered her first name. Anna, the name spelt both ways in the mirror reversed, lol. Maybe it's really clever? Nah

    Just teasing

Congratulations on hitting 600. I've laughed, Loved, Cried and been educated for years by you guys.

    Thank you from the heart

  11. Just to be clear... Mirrors is bad?

    1. We should have mentioned that at some point.

    2. yes yes MAYBE its bad but without it we wouldnt have had all the ep600 riffage...the stuff towards the end with the kids voice and mirror references was LOL funny.

So...in the end...all i'm saying is before we jump to conclusions about whether Mirrors is "good" or "bad"...maybe we should just think about it for a while.........

      you know......

      reflect on it.

thank you! thank you! you've been a great crowd! try the quiche!

  12. Congrats, and thank you for 600 great episodes! "Shit, Goddammit".

Also, I believe people crush up pills so they can sniff them instead of taking them orally? It either has a faster effect, and/or just feels cooler?

I got super excited when Adam mentioned Idle Hands, but then realized I was thinking of Body Parts. I always confuse the two. The latter is very entertaining.

    1. It's less often to snort it - although people definitely do that, though it's really not gonna have much of an effect with prescription drugs that are so diluted with non-drug powder... It's so that it absorbs in the stomach faster. The pills doesn't have to slowly dissolve as it's intended to.

Even so... it's mostly a movie thing and prescription addicts are much more likely to just take more of a drug rather than want the high to come faster. When a drug loses its potency, they want more of it - not the weakened effect to happen faster... If they followed the movies advice and crushed it, the results would likely make them say "shit! goddamnit!"

  13. Mummy Kid and Mirrors Kid are genuinely hilarious. Hope we are introduced to more members of the Kid family in future podcasts.
