  2. Best time to watch Under the Skin is 8pm. I saw it at 8pm-ish and loved it. And don't forget Lyndon After Midnight. You should have watched that at 2am, PB and Doug!

  3. This is great, and I hope you are willing to do more episodes like it ocassionally. It's a fun idea, and it would be great to hear your reactions to all kinds of movies in the middle of the night.

  4. I'll be fascinated to see you both watch Under The Skin again in about a month, at 8 PM or so as Adam said.

    1. I'll probably watch certain scenes from UtS again in a month. And again and again. Does that count?

  5. It took me a day or two to interpret Under the Skin, and that was after seeing it fully awake. Have you formed and thoughts since?.

  6. There was a review regarding UTS that said "This movie is from another planet." I think that sums it up perfectly. It's one of the best things I've seen all year and not because of Scarlet (although she was decent; well, not in the proper form, but in her role). The score to that film is mind blowing.

    1. I loved the score. That was probably my favorite thing about the movie. I liked it overall, but I know enough to know I need to see it again.

  7. I can only imagine the struggle to formulate coherent sentences after the fourth movie

    1. The "Honey" was actually Marcia Strassman (from Welcome Back Kotter), though they are very easily confused. Harley Jane Kozack played Rick Moranis' wife in Parenthood.

    2. Jeez, there I go again, getting my Moranis arm candy mixed up again. This is like the time I was on the Rosie O'Donnell Show and I kept calling her Annie Potts.

(and, Yes, I looked up imdb to make sure I got these references right. Fool me once, worth two in the bush)

    3. I used to play in a band called Moranis Arm Candy. We were decent.

  9. Great podcast guys! I started listening to it yesterday and you were my inspiration for finally cracking my copy of The Raid 2 and convincing my lovely fiancé to give it a shot - I had already seen it in the theatre but I got a nice added kick out of how much she dug (Doug!) it - plus it's definitely a movie that rewards multiple viewings - holy shit I love it.

Always interesting to hear from All-nighter Doug and Patrick!
