Johnny Deadline: Free Space!

 by JB

Some suggestions for today... and for the rest of your lives.

Today is “Free Space” day here at Junesploitation Headquarters! To celebrate, I’m going to plunder old columns and make some suggestions—not only for “Free Space,” the holiest of all days on the calendar, but for the rest of Junesploitation too!

Check out some of my past favorite "exploitation recommendations". (“Exploitation Recommendation,” you may remember, was a big disco hit in 1977!) Following the film's title, you'll find a convenient link to my original column, some written as far back as the early 1940s!

You’re welcome.

Every one of these 13 gems would fit any “Free Space” day, plus other days on the schedule too. Some of these films are very easy to see; some are a little harder to see. I can’t help that. Fortune favors the bold.
1. The Hidden (1987)—ALSO WORKS FOR: “80’s Horror”
