F This Movie! - The Grand Budapest Hotel
Patrick and Adam Riske are the faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity.

Review: Divergent
by Adam Riske
I don’t want to watch Shailene Woodley shoot people. With that in mind, Divergent is entertaining enough for the first 90 minutes and then it devolves into 50 minutes of what was coined on the podcast recently as "fucking murder."

Drunk on Foolish Pleasures: Magical Realism in the Films of The Beatles
I have a strange and magnificent theory to share with you all today. When you are finished reading it, be sure to weigh in (I know... I know... it's not the weekend) and tell me if you think I am imagining things… or if you think I AM A GENIUS.

Riske Business: Adam Hearts Video On Demand
My favorite trend in the film industry recently is the proliferation of Video On Demand. While mainstream cinema has become homogenized and branded to obscene degrees, the most interesting and original movies out today are more readily available than ever before. If you are not watching a movie on VOD every week, you are missing out on some of the best cinema in recent years.

Heath Holland On...Obscure Greatness: Treasure Island (1990)
What do you get when you combine a fifteen-year-old Christian Bale, an understated Charlton Heston (sans neckerchief), and a troupe of Hammer horror actors? My favorite film version of Treasure Island.

Review: Non-Stop
by Adam Riske
If you would have told me that after watching Non-Stop I would retreat into a deep reflection on sensitivity in movies, I would have thought you were crazy. But here we are.
